Manchester No2ID have unveiled a new campaign flyer to highlight their ongoing and necessary commitment to stopping ID cards and the database state. The leaflet highlights how the legislation behind the Government's pledge to scrap ID cards does not go far enough, and outlines other Database State initiatives that still need tackling.

Manchester No2ID co-ordinator Dave Page said, "The new Government is talking the talk on privacy and freedom, and we welcome that. But we will point out when they put a foot wrong while walking the walk. Undoing the Database State is not a trivial task. It will require a fundamental change in the way the Government thinks about ordinary people. No2ID will continue to fight for people's liberty."
