Home Office Prepares to Announce Total Surveillance Plan - NO2ID Press Release

Attached below is an important NO2ID press release on a Government plan to force internet service providers to keep records of everyone's browsing, e-mail, gaming and chat use and make it available to the authorities. Mobile phone calls and text records will also be stored.

This is a revival of the former Labour Government's Intercept Modernisation Programme and presents huge concerns for privacy and individual freedom, given that it will allow an unprecedented level of state monitoring of the lives of British citizens.
