The Manchester Open Rights Group has organised a talk by Simon Phipps, an Open Rights Group Director on June 12th at 7pm in the upstairs meeting room of the Town Hall Tavern, 20 Tib Lane, Manchester, M2 4JA.
He will be talking on two subjects:
1) The Communications Data Bill : "The Zombie Bill That Just Won't Die", which is very relevant given the attempts by certain Politicians to capitalise on the murder of Lee Rigby in Woolwich to promote its resurrection.
2) Reforming the Open Source Initiative (OSI) for the next decade.
The event is free and for further details see: http://www.meetup.com/ORG-Manchester/events/121186352/
