Supporters of Manchester NO2ID and Liverpool Defy-ID will be protesting at the Immigration Services building at 20 Water Street, Liverpool (map), on the day ID cards are rolled out to non-EU students and spouses.

We will meet from 11am at Exchange Flats at the top of Water Street, then make our way to the Immigration Services building at noon to protest for an hour. If possible, please wear an A4 barcode around your neck - we may well have a few spares on the day. NO2ID and Defy-ID banners will be present, along with a giant ID card.

Other groups including No Borders and the Rhythms of Resistance samba band will be present, and the demonstration will be filmed for GCSE citizenship course material.
