Stop the Database State

The Conservatives are in Manchester between the 5th and 8th October. They may be talking the talk on the National Identity Scheme, but we need to encourage them to walk the walk if they take power at the next General Election.

We'll be flyering conference delegates each morning from 9am to 10am, Monday 5th to Thursday 8th, just as we did at the Labour conferences in 2006 and 2008. We'll meet outside the Midland Hotel, between St. Peter's Square and Mount Street (where the Friends Meeting House is) - just turn up and look for the people with bundles of NO2ID leaflets, and join in! You don't need any experience, and any time you can spare will be welcome.

If you would like to volunteer to co-ordinate a morning (basically turn up for the duration and hand out leaflets to other volunteers), please contact us.
